Cancelling before dispatch
You can cancel any order free of charge at any time before it is dispatched. Because all orders are cash on delivery, nothing has been paid, so there is nothing to refund.
To cancel:
- Email diwalideals23232@gmail.com with your order number and the word “cancel”.
- We confirm the cancellation by reply, usually within a few hours during working hours (10:00 am to 7:00 pm, Monday to Saturday).
Orders are normally dispatched within one working day of confirmation, so please write as soon as you decide. If you placed the order in the evening, a message before 10:00 am the next day will almost always reach us in time.
Cancelling part of an order
You can remove individual items before dispatch. Email us with the order number and the items to remove; we update the order and send a revised total.
After dispatch
Once the courier has picked up the parcel we cannot stop it. You have two options:
- Refuse the parcel at the door. Tell the delivery person you do not want it. The parcel comes back to us and no payment is made. Please also send us a message so we can mark the order cancelled.
- Accept it and return it. For items in unused condition, follow the Refund & Return Policy within 7 days.
We ask that you do not simply ignore the courier’s calls. Repeated undelivered or refused parcels cost a small business money, and we may decline future cash on delivery orders to addresses with a pattern of refusals.
When we may cancel an order
We may cancel an order before dispatch, and will tell you why, if:
- the delivery pincode turns out not to be serviceable;
- the product is out of stock and we cannot offer an equivalent;
- we cannot reach you on the phone number given to confirm the order within two working days;
- the price shown was clearly a listing error;
- the order appears to be fraudulent or made for resale in breach of our Terms & Conditions.
Festive-season cut-offs
In the last week before Diwali we dispatch faster to meet the festival, sometimes on the same day. Cancellation may then be possible only for an hour or two after ordering. If a cut-off applies, the product page and checkout say so.
