Buying guide: Women's Western Wear

This section is where the everyday and festive-season wardrobe meets: co-ord sets, dresses and gowns, tops and shirts, jeans, knitwear, jackets and nightwear. Most of it works for the days around Diwali when you are shopping, visiting or at the office, and a few pieces are for the party itself.

Co-ord sets

A co-ord is a top and bottom made to be worn together. They are the fastest way to look put together, and each half also works on its own. Here you will find knit tops with wide-leg pants, hoodie and pants lounge sets, blazer sets, a lace-knit set with a V-neck top, a denim fusion set with distressed sleeves, and a denim-look top with a lined net skirt. Pick a knit set for winter days out, a blazer set for a corporate dinner, and the net skirt set for a brunch that will be photographed.

Dresses and gowns

Midi and strap dresses are for daytime. The black rib-knit bodycon and the evening gown with a high slit are for dinner and receptions. The textured jacquard gown, with a square neck and puff sleeves, is the one to wear when the evening has a photographer. Fitted dresses follow the body, so if you sit between two sizes, order the larger.

Tops, shirts and jeans

Embroidered cotton tees, a bird-embroidered short-sleeve shirt, an oversized shirt with heart patches, cropped denim shirts and a notch-neck shirt with trousers cover the daytime. High-waist wide-leg jeans, in classic and light washes, go under all of them. Check the product description for the waist and rise of jeans, and for whether a cut is relaxed or fitted.

Knitwear, jackets and nightwear

The winter half of this section is large: heart-knit sweaters and cardigans, a bow-patch cardigan, a pearl-embellished cardigan, a faux-fur crop cardigan, a wool-blend sweater vest, a double-breasted blazer coat, a cropped blazer, a wool-blend shacket, statement denim jackets, a cape, fleece tracksuits and plush night suits. Sizes and fit

  • All garments come in S to XXL.
  • Tops, dresses and blazers follow standard sizing. Order your usual size.
  • Oversized shirts, hoodies and shackets are meant to be roomy. Do not size up.
  • Wide-leg jeans and pants: measure your waist and check the product description for the waist measurement.
  • Check the product description for the fabric and, where there is one, the lining.

Delivery and returns

Every order ships free to any serviceable pincode in India and is paid in cash when it arrives, with nothing added for delivery or cash on delivery. Dispatch from Hyderabad is within one working day; most of the country receives the parcel in five to seven days. An unused garment with its tags and packaging can be returned within seven days of delivery. You pay the return courier, and the product price is refunded by UPI or bank transfer within seven working days of receiving it.

Care

Knits and anything with pearls, patches or applique should be hand washed cold and dried flat. Denim washes cold, inside out, and skips the dryer. Blazers and satin gowns are dry clean only.
